Jac-cen-del
Elementary School holds classrooms from PK- 6th grade and has a total of
553 students. Ninety three students attend Kindergarten; Seventy four students
attend the 1st grade; Eighty one students attend the 2nd grade; Seventy three
students attend the 3 rd grade; Seventy one students attend the 4th grade; Eighty
three students attend the 5th grade. Seventy eight students attend the 6th grade.
This Elementary School has approximately 30 teachers with a Student Ratio of
1:18 . Their program is based on methods that will provide students with the
opportunities to acquire, to their highest potential, skills, habits, and character
traits that will prepare them to become caring, productive members of an ever-changing
world.
Milan Middle School
has approximately 417 students attending grades 5th – 8th. This Middle
School has a total of 22 teachers with a Student Ratio 1:19. One hundred and
one Students attend the 5th grade; One hundred and nineteen students attend
the 6th grade; Ninety nine students attend the 7th grade; Ninety eight students
attend the 8th grade. Milan Middle School fosters an environment that allows
academic, social, emotional, and cultural growth with a broad range of curricular
and extra-curricular selections.
Batesville High School
holds classrooms in grades 9th - 12th. Approximately 64 teachers teach the schools
curriculum to 606 students. One hundred sixty one students attend the 9th grade;
One hundred and fifty two students attend the 10th grade; One hundred and sixty
two students attend the 11th grade; One hundred and thirty one students attend
the 12th grade. Batesville High School has a Teacher Student Ratio of 1:17 and
has the following ethnic background: Asian 1% , Hispanic 5%, Black 13%, and
White 81%.
